From a small family kitchen in Naples to a celebrated restaurant serving authentic Italian cuisine

Our Humble Beginnings

Bella Vista Restaurant was born from the culinary dreams of the Rossi family, who emigrated from Naples, Italy in 1965. Bringing with them cherished family recipes passed down through generations, Maria and Antonio Rossi opened the doors of Bella Vista in 1997.

What began as a small, intimate dining space with just 10 tables has evolved into one of the most beloved Italian restaurants in the region, while still maintaining the warm, family atmosphere that our guests have come to love.

Preserving Tradition

At Bella Vista, we believe that authentic Italian cuisine is about honoring tradition while embracing innovation. Our recipes have been preserved from generation to generation, with each chef adding their own subtle touch while respecting the core techniques and flavors.

We take pride in making our pasta by hand daily, using traditional methods that have been perfected over centuries. Our pizza dough ferments for 72 hours, creating the perfect balance of flavor and texture that can only come from patience and dedication to craft.

Farm to Table Philosophy

The cornerstone of Italian cuisine is using fresh, high-quality ingredients. We source locally whenever possible, working directly with farmers and producers who share our commitment to quality and sustainability.

For specialty items that simply cannot be replicated outside of Italy, we import directly from small, family-run producers in various regions of Italy – from San Marzano tomatoes to authentic Parmigiano-Reggiano and extra virgin olive oil from century-old olive groves.

1997

The Grand Opening

Bella Vista opens its doors with a modest 10-table restaurant, serving traditional recipes from the Rossi family cookbook.

2003

First Expansion

Due to growing popularity, Bella Vista expands to accommodate 40 guests and introduces a wood-fired pizza oven imported from Naples.

2008

Recognition & Awards

Bella Vista receives its first major culinary award and is featured in "Italian Cuisine Monthly" as one of the top 50 authentic Italian restaurants in the country.

2012

Second Generation

Marco Rossi, son of founders Maria and Antonio, returns from culinary training in Italy to join the family business as head chef.

2018

Current Location

Bella Vista moves to its current, larger location, featuring an expanded dining room, private event space, and outdoor patio seating.

2023

25th Anniversary

Celebrating 25 years of serving authentic Italian cuisine, Bella Vista launches a special anniversary menu featuring reimagined classics from our original 1997 menu.
